Alana David
Alana (she/her) is a first-year student at the University of Oregon pursuing a BA in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. Her goals are to attend graduate school to get a degree in Counseling Psychology and work as a licensed therapist. She greatly enjoys working with kids and listening to music with friends. In her free time you can find her in the gym or thrifting.  
Westerdahl Giselle
Giselle Westerdahl 
Giselle (she/her) is a senior pursuing a BA in Psychology at the University of Oregon’s Clark Honors College. Her research focus is on the current standards for juvenile adjudicative competency within the United States justice system. Her career objective is to work with at-risk youth and their families to minimize their contact with the justice system and promote positive outcomes. 
Izzy Ponce
Izzy Ponce  
Izzy (she/her) serves as a Research Assistant for the Data Collective Project at CPO. As an intern, she has gained hands-on experience with software like REDCap and Apptoto, focusing on data organization and participant communication. This year, she is taking on a leadership role, contributing to intern training and recruitment initiatives.  
Bedrosian
Gabriel Bedrosian-Tinelle 
Gabe (he/him) is a senior at the University of Oregon double majoring in Family and Human Services and Public Policy & Nonprofit Management with a minor in Global Service with a health focus. In the last two years, he’s been provided opportunities to gain knowledge and real-world experience in harm reduction, intervention, and prevention practices, including at the CPO. He wants to work with and for people and policy to ensure health, safety, stability, and a sense of pride and community are brought to people who use drugs, people in recovery, and people in poverty. 
Eloise Reese
Eloise Reese 
Eloise (she/her) is passionate about recovery and harm reduction. She is currently majoring in Family and Human Services at the University of Oregon with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. For the past three years, she has had the privilege of working in recovery and harm reduction, including at the PERC, where she gained valuable hands-on experience. She’s committed to creating inclusive, supportive spaces and using compassionate, evidence-based approaches to empower individuals and communities. Her goal is to help reduce harm and enhance well-being for those navigating their recovery journeys and to lower rates of overdose and infectious disease transmission. 
Kannamparambil
Maria Kannamparambil 
Maria (she/her) is an undergraduate student at Arizona State University and is a current intern for the PERC. Having grown up in Portland, she now lives in Tempe, Arizona. As both a Psychology and Biological Sciences major, she has a keen interest in research within social and behavioral psychology, namely in aging, substance use disorder, and group dynamics, and hopes to pursue a career in clinical psychology in the future. Outside of academics, she enjoys playing ukulele, painting, and hikes that end in waterfalls. 
Taylor Culinski
Taylor Culinski
Taylor (she/her) is currently a graduate intern for the PERC. She is also a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Oregon pursuing a Master's degree in Psychology. Her primary research interests include kinship families and understanding the complexities of family relationships, resiliency, and social support in the context of the opioid epidemic.

Hana (she/her) is a sophomore at the University of Oregon majoring in Psychology with minors in Criminology and Arabic. She is passionate about substance use disorder research, public health, and reducing stigma around substance use. Her academic interests center on ethical research practices and the intersection of psychology and criminal justice.

Fallon Noone
Fallon (she/her) is working on a BS in Psychology at the University of Oregon. She is an intern at the PERC and helps with outreach.  

 

Heydi Carlos 
Heydi (she/her) is a senior at the University of St. Thomas pursuing a BS in Psychology. Her research interests include trauma development and the effects of parenting and culture on personality.  

 

Delano Stepp
Charles (Delano, he/him) is a senior at the University of St. Thomas, where he is working towards a BS in Psychology. Throughout his academic journey, he has gained extensive hands-on experience working with at-risk populations and premature infants, which has fueled his passion for helping those in need and advocating for their well-being.  Outside of his studies, Delano enjoys exploring new recipes and is always eager to try his hand at cooking. He cherishes spending quality time with his husband and their beloved fur babies, finding balance and joy in both his personal and professional life. With a strong commitment to both personal and academic growth, he is excited to continue making a positive impact in the field of psychology
